Individual Mentoring

Individual Mentoring

WHO IS INDIVIDUAL MENTORING FOR?

Individual mentoring is for people who are thinking about something important in their lives and want to make sense of it, explore their possibilities and decide what to do next.

You may be facing a difficult decision, going through a period of change, questioning what you want or simply feeling that something in your life needs to be different.

You do not need to have a clearly defined problem or a ready-made goal. Sometimes you simply know that you want to understand something better, see your situation differently or move forward with greater clarity.

WHAT MIGHT BRING YOU TO MENTORING?

You may be at a point in your life where something is changing, something no longer feels right or something new is beginning.

You might be considering a change in direction, questioning your priorities or trying to find a better balance in your life.

Sometimes there is no single problem to solve. You may simply want a space to think about what matters, understand what you really want and explore what could come next.

WHAT CAN WE EXPLORE TOGETHER?

The focus of individual mentoring is always personal to you. It may touch on questions of identity, clarity, change or balance.

You may be exploring who you are becoming, what you really want, what needs to change or what a more balanced life could look like for you.

These areas are not a fixed programme. They are simply different ways of looking at what matters to you and where you would like to go next.

QUESTIONS, DECISIONS AND CHANGE

Sometimes you come to mentoring with a question. Sometimes with a decision you need to make. Sometimes you simply know that something needs to change.

We can explore what is behind the question, what matters in the decision and what may be keeping you from moving forward.

The aim is not to tell you what to do. It is to help you see your situation more clearly, consider your possibilities and decide what feels right for you.

WHAT MIGHT YOU GAIN FROM INDIVIDUAL MENTORING?

Individual mentoring can help you gain greater clarity about what matters to you, understand your situation from different perspectives and move towards decisions or changes that feel right for you.

You may leave with a clearer sense of direction, a different perspective on a situation, greater confidence in your own thinking or simply a better understanding of what you want.

The outcome is personal to you. There is no predefined result that mentoring is supposed to produce.

HOW INDIVIDUAL MENTORING WORKS

Individual mentoring gives you a private space to think openly about what matters to you.

Our conversations are shaped around your situation and can move between reflection, exploration, challenge and action. I may ask questions, offer perspectives or draw on relevant experience when it can help you see something differently.

You remain at the centre of the process. You decide what you want to explore, what you want to share and what you want to do with what you discover.

A PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL RELATIONSHIP

Individual mentoring is a private and confidential relationship.

You decide what you want to share, and you never have to discuss anything you would rather keep private.

The space is there for you to think openly, explore what matters and have conversations focused entirely on your situation and development.

Confidentiality is part of the way we work together from the beginning and throughout the mentoring relationship.

WHEN YOU ARE READY TO MOVE FORWARD

Individual mentoring is ultimately about helping you move forward in a way that is right for you.

That may mean making a decision, changing direction, taking action, seeing a situation differently or simply feeling clearer about where you are going.

The goal is not to create dependence on mentoring. It is to help you develop greater independence and confidence in your own thinking. When the time is right, you move forward on your own.
