I bring more than 30 years of leadership experience to my mentoring practice — not to tell leaders what to do, but to help them see more clearly, challenge their thinking and make better decisions with confidence.

 

Throughout my career, I have led businesses and international teams, built and developed organisations, managed transformation and change, taken responsibility for business performance, and made decisions where there was rarely a perfect answer.

 

Today, I bring that experience into conversations with leaders who want to think more clearly, develop their leadership and navigate challenges with greater confidence and independence.

Leadership experience matters in mentoring because leadership is not learned from theory alone.

 

I have experienced the reality of making decisions that affect people, performance and the future of an organisation. I have led through growth, transformation, uncertainty and change — and I have learned that leadership is as much about developing people as it is about making decisions.

 

That experience gives me something valuable to bring into a mentoring conversation: perspective.

I am an IMC Certified Master Mentor (CMM).

 

For me, professional mentoring means more than having experience to share. It requires the ability to listen deeply, ask the right questions, create a reflective space and adapt the relationship to the person in front of me.

 

Experience gives me something to contribute. Professional mentoring practice gives me the judgement to know how and when to contribute it.
